PAUL DITISHEIM, La Chaux-de-Fonds, "Grand Prix 1900", circa 1905. N°35986. Rare 18K yellow gold chronograph. Four-body round case in yellow gold. Superb white enamelled dial with two counters, "Breguet" type Arabic numerals, black painted 1/5 seconds railroad, yellow gold and blued steel leaf hands for the chronometer hand. 30-minute totalizer at 12 o'clock and small second hand at 6 o'clock. Signed and numbered dial Superb mechanical movement, anchor escapement, bimetallic balance wheel, cylindrical Breguet balance spring, movement no. 35986. Coaxial winder, push-piece chronograph functions, instant jump minute recorder. Inner case engraved "DITIS" and "Grand prix, Paris 1900 exhibition, first at the chronometric competitions of the Kew, Washington Neuchâtel observatories". Back of box monogrammed "C.H" in interlacing. Superb aesthetic and mechanical condition. Diameter : 52mm Gross weight : 120 gr Presented in its original red morocco case with gilded iron, burgundy velvet interior and indications of the many prices delivered.
