MAI 68 posters Light wages, heavy tanks, 1968 Original vintage poster On paper, approx. 48.5 x 32 cm INFORMATION: Original edition produced in 1968 (not a modern reprint). During the events of May 1968, the publisher Tchou decided to collect a selection of the most striking posters in order to preserve evidence of this popular, student and artistic expression. He worked with the printers most involved in the movement: Cogery, Cabasson and du Griffon, to ensure that his edition was as close as possible (paper, printing technique) to the posters circulating in the streets. The authors of these posters are sometimes artists who would go on to become famous: Alechinsky, Calder, Effel, Matta... and others, like the one on this poster, unknown. Very good condition, with slight edge defects.
