Jean-Emile LABOUREUR (1877-1943) On the Thames, 1924 Original wood engraving Signed in the plate On Arches wove paper 22.5 x 28 cm INFORMATION: Text on back. Printed especially for Byblis magazine. Founded by engraver Pierre Gusman, a former collaborator of Gustave Doré, the magazine was devoted to the art of books and prints. Between 1922 and 1931, Byblis appeared four times a year. This engraving is part of the Spring 1924 issue.
