Johan-Barthold JONKIND (1819-1891) Sunset in Antwerp, 1930 Heliotype after a drawing by the artist Signed in the plate On vellum 22.5 x 28 cm INFORMATION: Printed specially for Byblis magazine. Founded by engraver Pierre Gusman, a former collaborator of Gustave Doré, the magazine was devoted to the art of books and prints. Between 1922 and 1931, Byblis appeared four times a year. This engraving is part of the 1930 edition.
