INFORMATION: This plate was copper-set by the French engraver and brother of Marcel Duchamp, Jacques VILLON, in 1930, for the Bernheim gallery. The latter subsequently donated the copperplates to the Musée des Louvre, which reissued them in small numbers in the 1950s. To mark the fiftieth anniversary of the artist's death, an exceptional new edition has been produced. The engraving is accompanied by its Chalcographie certificate of authenticity.
