These plates were exhibited at the Louise Leiris gallery from January 24 to February 24, 1973, a few weeks before the artist's death, and the edition was completed in 1978 in the Crommelynck workshops, faithful friends of Picasso. They bear the artist's signature stamp (Lugt 2026e). PROVENANCE: Personal collection of Aldo Crommelynck, publisher and friend of the artist.
