Georges MEUNIER (1869-1942) Starlight Soap, 1899 Original lithograph in colors Signed in the plate On fine wove paper 39.5 x 29 cm INFORMATION: Authenticated by the dry stamp of the publisher, L'Imprimerie Chaix. The first edition was created for the Belgian "Starlight Soap" advertisement. The lithograph was published by Les Maîtres de l'Affiche in Imprimerie Chaix in 1899. It was part of the eponymous portfolio (plate no. 196) featuring the finest illustrated posters by the great artists of the time. Excellent condition, with only minor foxing and handling marks in the margins.
