Salvador DALI (1904-1989) The Scythian Philosopher, 1966 Original etching Signed in the plate On wove paper 51.5 x 38 cm REFERENCES : - Field catalog raisonné #67-3 - Michler and Lopsinger catalog raisonné #1159 INFORMATION : Solicited by the Red Cross to help rebuild Venice, Dali created this etching, which was later reproduced as a lithograph in the portfolio "Les vingt fables" (The Twenty Fables), sold in aid of the Association. Only a few copies of the engraving were printed, intended for the publisher, Dali and his close friends. Rare proof from the publisher's collection. Very good condition, leaf edges slightly yellowed. Works on paper (posters, prints) will be sent, on request, in a reinforced tube with tracking and insurance up to 500€, by MBE Paris VIII at the following rates: France 39€ / EU + UK 49€ / Switzerland 79€ / USA and Canada 109€ / Rest of the world 125€.
