Jules CHERET (1836-1932) Young Girl Painter (Willette Exhibition), 1898 Original lithograph in colors Signed in the plate On fine wove paper 39.5 x 29 cm INFORMATION: Authenticated by the dry stamp of the publisher, L'Imprimerie Chaix. The first edition was created in 1888 for the "Exposition de Tableaux et Dessins de A. Willette". The lithograph was published by Les Maîtres de l'Affiche in L'Imprimerie Chaix in 1898. It was part of the eponymous portfolio (plate no. 97) featuring the finest illustrated posters by the great artists of the time. Very good condition, edges slightly yellowed.
