Camille PISSARRO (1830-1903) Au marché Original wood engraving Signed in the plate On laid paper 20.5 x 14.5 cm INFORMATION: This engraving was used to illustrate "La Charrue d'Erable" (The Maple Plow) by Émile Moselly, published at 116 copies by Eragny Press for Le livre contemporain in 1912. This publishing project had remained unfinished in 1903, when the artist died, and was finalized under the supervision of his son Lucien Pissarro from the woodcuts left by his father.
