PERELLE family (17th century) Fountain of the Etoile at Versailles Engraving Unsigned On BFK Rives wove paper 32.5 x 44 cm INFORMATION: This family of artists, centered around Gabriel, the father, and his sons Adam and Nicolas, produced a considerable number of engravings, mostly of their own invention. Imbued with many influences, whether Nordic, Italian or Parisian, they feature a wide variety of subjects: pastorals, seascapes, landscapes with classical architecture in ruins or picturesque villages, or topographical landscapes. Very good condition, minor handling defects on one leaf. Works on paper (posters, prints) will be sent in a reinforced tube with tracking and insurance up to 500€, by MBE Paris VIII at the following rates: - France 39€ - EU + UK 49€ - Switzerland 79€ - USA / Canada 109€ - Rest of the world 125€.
