INFORMATION: This family of artists, centered around Gabriel, the father, and his sons Adam and Nicolas, produced a considerable number of engravings, mostly of their own invention. Imbued with numerous influences, whether Nordic, Italian or Parisian, they feature a wide variety of subjects: pastorals, seascapes, landscapes with classical architecture in ruins or picturesque villages, or topographical landscapes.
A copy of this work appears under inventory number TH.99.15.3690.(2) in the collection of the Musée des Beaux Arts de Nancy.
