Fernand LEGER (1881-1955) Creation of the World, the Birds, 1954 Lithograph and stencil (Atelier Nourisson et Monnier) Unsigned On paper 24 x 18 cm INFORMATION: Stencil produced in 1954 from a costume design painted by Fernand Léger for the ballet "La Création du Monde" (Theme by Blaise Cendrars and Fernand Léger and music by Darius Milhaud) staged by Rolf de Maré's Ballets Suédois at the Théâtre des Champs Elysées (Paris) to choreography by Jean Borlin, on October 25, 1923.
