Pablo PICASSO (1881-1973) Corrida, 1953 Round dish in white earthenware Decorated with engobe and partial underglaze enamel, brown, green decoration with oxidized kerosene. Signed with the stamp on the back "Madoura Plein Feu Empreinte Originale de Picasso" Diameter approx. 42 cm REFERENCE: Catalogue raisonné des céramiques de Picasso : Alain Ramié n°182. Edition of only a few copies, this is a variant of n°181 which differs notably in the filling of the bulls at the top and left.
