Mai 68 Pouvoir populaire, 1968 Original vintage poster On paper approx. 48.5 x 32 cm INFORMATIONS: Original edition produced in 1968 (not a modern reprint). During the events of May 1968, publisher Tchou decided to collect a selection of the most striking posters to bear witness to this popular, student and artistic expression. He then worked with the printing houses most involved in the movement: Cogery, Cabasson and du Griffon, to ensure that his edition was as close as possible (paper, printing technique) to the posters circulating in the streets. The authors of these posters are sometimes artists who would go on to become famous: Alechinsky, Calder, Effel, Matta... and others, like the one on this poster, unknown. Very good condition, with slight flaws at the edges of the sheets.
