IBM (Conférence Internationale du Design pour Les Entreprise - Lot 824
IBM (Conférence Internationale du Design pour Les Entreprises)Very Rare RAND PAUL IBM (Conférence Internationale du Design pour Les Entreprises)Very Rare Design legend Paul Rand created his first logo for IBM in 1956, but this poster for the technology company's 1981 International Design Conference remains his most iconic work and one of the most treasured graphic designs in the corporate world. The "Eye-Bee-M" rebus was meant to support IBM's motto "THINK": "An eye for perception, insight, vision; a bee for diligence, dedication, perseverance; an 'M' for motivation, merit, fortitude. ." It was so enthusiastically received that the company reprinted the image as advertising for national distribution. This, however, is the version first presented at IBM's design conference in 1981.
