OMEGA "Montre agrafe ou clip" vers 1931
Rare and exceptional steel watch, elegant "Art Deco" stylized cushion case, screwed crown and clipped case back with indication "Patented, S.G.D.G" with strike n° 405 on the case body and n° 8789407 on the case back. Superb white enamelled dial, Omega logo, black painted track and indexes with added luminescent material still reactive, small second hand at 6 o'clock, blued steel Alpha hands luminescent. Mechanical movement with manual winding cal. 26, 5 SOB, 15 jewels, adjusted 2 positions, Breguet balance spring, numbered 7906513. Its clip is perfectly functional. Diameter 30 mm. "The practical watch for all circumstances, worn on the vest of Mr., on the bag of Mrs., on the belt of sportsmen and is placed on the desk of the businessman and at the bedside of all" described and reproduced in an Omega advertisement in the newspaper "L'Illustration" of 1933.
