This poster was created in 1893 for a performance by the famous dancer Jane Avril, at the Jardin de Paris. The lithograph was published by Les Maîtres de l'Affiche in L'Imprimerie Chaix in 1898. It was part of the eponymous portfolio (plate no. 110) featuring the finest illustrated posters by the great artists of the time. Very good condition, with light handling marks and a little foxing in the left margin.
