During the events of May 1968, publisher Tchou decided to collect a selection of the most striking posters to bear witness to this popular, student and artistic expression. He worked with the printers most involved in the movement: Cogery, Cabasson and du Griffon, to ensure that his edition was as close as possible (paper, printing technique) to the posters circulating in the streets. The authors of these posters are sometimes artists who would go on to become famous: Alechinsky, Calder, Effel, Matta... and others, like the one on this poster, unknown. Very good condition, with slight flaws at the edges of the sheets.
